Ventilation and smoke extraction for roof and wall

INDU LIGHT louvred ventilator Lyra-star is the ideal solution for any requirement on professional ventilation and smoke extraction devices. It features a range of 40 tested unit sizes for installation on roofs and walls.

Depending on their intended purpose the louvred segments can be supplied in polycarbonate(Lyra-star_P) or aluminium(Lyra-star_A).

Lyra-star sets new standards for opening forces for increased snow loads. It has been tested and is approved in 24V technology up to 750N/m² in accordance with EN 12101-2. Units, which were tested for even higher snow loads are also available on request.

The standalone device Lyra-star is ideal for manufacturing facilities, workshops, storage facilities or buildings with similar requirements.

Variable application as ventilation- and SHEV-device

Lyra-star can be applied as standalone device on the entire roof area |1| and in the façade as SHEV or ventilation |2|.

Technical details for Lyra-star

Used purely as a ventilation flap, Lyra-star can be configured to almost any desired set of dimension.

 

The values quoted below relate to reference natural smoke and heat exhaust units (NSHEV), defined in DIN EN 12101-2 or SHEV units in combination with natural ventilation.

Service and professional maintenance

As manufacturer and approved supplier of SHEV systems INDU LIGHT performs regular maintenance. Our professional service technicians verify that SHEV devices and systems are in order and fully functional. The records of the inspections performed are stored and managed by INDU LIGHT.

By law SHEV systems must be maintained at legally defined inspection intervals. Contact us – we will schedule and arrange maintenance on time.

Fall-through protection

Safety is our number one priority. That is why all INDU LIGHT continuous rooflights come together with the IAP1 anchor point. This includes a stainless steel bracket which is integrated in the eave structure of the continuous rooflight and fixed to the frame head. Attached to the PPE it protects personnel from falls. Anchor point IAP1 is a tested class A1 anchor device in accordance with EN 795:1996-07/A1:2000-10 (D) und EN 795:2012-10 (D)
