Making the Most of Sunlight—On and Under the Roof
With integrated daylight and photovoltaic solutions from INDU LIGHT, solar energy works twice as effectively: on the roof for sustainable power generation, and underneath for light-filled rooms with a natural atmosphere. This creates a synergy of energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and architectural quality.
Our integrated daylight and PV solutions combine climate protection with comfort—intelligently planned, technically sophisticated, and economically sound.
Energy from Light – A Smart Combination of Daylight and Solar Power
Glass panel with integrated PV cells
These innovative glass PV modules open up new architectural possibilities. They combine sustainable energy generation with modern aesthetics and can be seamlessly integrated into the building envelope—for maximum efficiency and a visible contribution to the energy transition.
Photovoltaic Integration with Shedline
Intelligent mounting systems allow photovoltaic panels to be installed perfectly on the south side of continuous rooflights on shed roofs. INDU LIGHT offers specially adapted substructures for this purpose, enabling the simple and secure installation of standard PV systems—efficient, easy to maintain, and cost-effective.
Space-saving use of roof space
Your photovoltaic system can not only be mounted on our shed roofllights but also installed next to our continuous rooflights to save space. We would be happy to advise you on the required spacing between the smoke and heat exhaust ventilation system and the PV system.

The PV glass modules are installed in the Glasline skylight system, where they provide both energy generation and light-filled architecture. With integrated PV cells between the glass panes, photovoltaics become an architectural design element. These building-integrated BIPV modules offer an elegant alternative to traditional rooftop systems and allow for partially transparent light transmission. This allows for flexible control of daylight penetration while simultaneously adding an aesthetic accent. With a variable coverage ratio of 50 to 89%, the modules offer a wide range of options for designing modern skylights.
Advantages:
- Variable degree of transparency
- Crystalline PV cells
- Flexible cell arrangement

FAQ
BIPV is the abbreviation for "building-integrated photovoltaics."
The clearances that must be maintained between the PV and RWA depend on the required exhaust airflow rates and the heights of the PV and RWA. We would be happy to assist you with your specific planning needs.

Awards are nice—but what really matters is the reliability of our products. In the event of a fire, human lives are at stake: skylights must open automatically to keep escape routes free of smoke. That is why INDU LIGHT prioritizes technical precision, regular audits, and independent certifications.
