Vela Skylight Damper for Smoke and Heat Exhaust and Ventilation
The Vela skylight damper combines reliable fire protection with natural ventilation and adds a high-performance functional component to the INDU LIGHT rooflights Topline ELS and Proline. In curved rooflights, it ensures efficient daily ventilation and promotes a healthy indoor climate. As a certified SHEV unit, Vela can be flexibly integrated into various rooflight configurations.

Your advantages at a glance
The Vela smoke exhaust damper is available in either a pneumatic version or a 24-volt version for full integration into the building management system. Tested in several standard sizes and certified according to EN 12101-2, this strip damper is also ideal for use in areas with heavy snow loads.
The continuous rooflight flap combines proven fire protection with efficient natural ventilation. Seamlessly integrated into the curved rooflights of the Topline ELS and Proline systems, Vela reliably performs daily ventilation functions. When combined with intelligent 24V control technology, Vela can also be used for nighttime cooling, for example.
INDU LIGHT supplies and installs custom-designed smoke and heat exhaust ventilation (SHEV) systems in accordance with the highest quality standards. As an ISO 9001-certified specialist company and a VdS-approved installation firm, we adhere to all relevant design standards for smoke and heat exhaust ventilation systems, including DIN 18232, the VdS guidelines, and the Industrial Building Code. CE approval for our SHEV systems is granted by VdS and is available for both pneumatic and modern 24-V systems.
