Conventional single-sash windows open only upward and can allow rainwater into the building during ventilation. Draco-vent’s rain-proof-ventilation (RPV) design solves this problem: Daily comfort ventilation is rainproof thanks to downward opening, while the opening mechanism automatically opens upward in the event of a fire, ensuring maximum smoke exhaust area.

Draco can be glazed with either insulated glass or polycarbonate. The insulated glass version offers particularly good thermal insulation and soundproofing properties while also providing reliable fall protection. The polycarbonate version, on the other hand, is a cost-effective solution and is particularly suitable for use in industrial and commercial construction.
