Topline ELS continuous rooflight

When installed horizontally, Topline ELS achieves a U-value of up to 0.9 W/m²K, setting it apart from the standard offerings on the market. Its thermal insulation performance is based on an insulated base and a multi-layered glazed panel structure.

This consistently reduces heat loss during building operation. At the same time, the high daylight yield significantly reduces the energy demand for artificial lighting, thereby supporting an overall efficient building concept.

With sound insulation values of up to 36 dB, the ELS system meets the wide range of requirements set forth in the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) and the Technical Instructions on Noise (TA-Lärm). This ensures compliance with the relevant noise limits in the vicinity of the building. For planners and building owners, this means significantly greater planning certainty during the approval process as well as greater flexibility in selecting noise-sensitive locations.

Topline ELS features an integrated shading system that can be retrofitted as needed, enabling precise light control throughout the year. Depending on requirements, the ELS Sunbloc sunblinds provide effective shading as well as projection-friendly blackout capabilities and can be operated continuously via a convenient remote control.

Positioned between the polycarbonate multiwall sheets, ELS sunbloc is optimally protected from external influences and permanently weather-resistant. Its functionality remains reliably intact even in strong winds, precipitation, or environments with high levels of emissions—ideal for demanding applications such as industrial halls, production facilities, or sports arenas.

Through the use of additional steel mesh panels and minor structural modifications, Topline ELS meets the requirements of ETAG 010, DIN EN 14963, DIN 4426, GS-Bau 18, and the Swiss SUVA, thereby offering a system with full fall-through protection. Light-reducing perforated metal panel structures are not required, despite high safety requirements. Corresponding protective devices can also be retrofitted into existing skylights.
