The Stella flat roof window combines a clean, elegant design with durable glazing and, thanks to its flush-mounted design, ensures easy self-cleaning and unobstructed rainwater drainage. As a modular system, Stella is available in numerous sizes and variants and can be precisely tailored to any new construction or renovation project. Insulated glass offers high energy efficiency, safety, and durability—for a permanently clear view and a modern appearance on the flat roof.

Stella is available in a wide range of sizes and can be precisely adapted to any roof opening using custom-fit flashing rings. This makes the system ideal for both new construction and renovation projects—precise, compatible, and easy to install.
Whether it’s thermal insulation glass or tinted glass, the customizable glazing options provide the perfect balance of energy efficiency, light transmission, and safety. This allows Stella to be tailored specifically to the needs of each room.
Electric actuators enable comfortable, safe, and fully automated ventilation. Depending on the room and its intended use, various electric openers are available that provide a reliable supply of fresh air and, if desired, smoke extraction functions.
In the roof exit configuration, Stella can be equipped with 24-volt motorized openers. Alternatively, the flat-roof window can also be opened manually and held securely in place with gas springs.
Top trim
The double-walled GRP coping with integrated insulation and high insulation values is available with 30 or 60 mm of insulation in three heights ranging from 150 to 500 mm.
A steel flashing with a 7° slope, designed to ensure proper water drainage on flat roofs without a slope. It is 62 mm thick and has a minimum height of 400 mm.
Compatible adapter for optimal connection of the hood to the existing mounting flange.
A functional multi-chamber system that can be optimally adapted to existing countertop edges. The 60 mm-thick adapter has a height of 200 mm.
A 7°-inclined flashing adapter designed to ensure proper water drainage on flat roofs without a slope.

Stella is an innovative flat-roof window featuring flush-mounted thermal insulation or tinted glass. As a flexibly configurable system, it offers solutions for both new construction and renovation projects. With high-quality craftsmanship, clean lines, and a wide range of sizes, glazing options, and ventilation variants, Stella sets new standards for daylight, energy efficiency, and aesthetic roof design. Thanks to precisely fitting flashing rings and compatible adapter solutions, replacing existing skylights is a breeze.
System architecture
The Stella window sash achieves high energy efficiency through customizable glazing options and, when using a combination of tempered and laminated glass, meets the fall-through protection requirements of GS-Bau 18 and DIN 18008-6. The linear, flush-mounted design reduces dirt buildup and allows rainwater-borne particles to drain unimpeded. The combination of a torsion-resistant multi-chamber profile and a dual sealing system further ensures stability and long-term, reliable thermal insulation.
For ventilation and smoke extraction, Stella offers a wide range of opening systems tailored to unit sizes and usage requirements. This allows the flat-roof window to be used as either a fixed or ventilated version as needed and to be flexibly adapted to different room configurations.
The top flashing made of glass-fiber-reinforced plastic (GFRP) forms the sturdy foundation of the system and ensures a secure mounting for hardware, opening mechanisms, and safety-critical components. As a universal solution for repair and replacement, INDU LIGHT’s renovation frames and renovation top rings offer every option for thermal bridge-free modernization. This ensures a secure connection to the roof membrane and makes replacing old, worn-out, and defective skylights a simple matter. Thanks to compatibility with numerous third-party products, there are virtually no limits when it comes to installation and retrofitting.
