Hydra Labyrinth Fan

The Hydra labyrinth ventilator is designed for natural ventilation and heat dissipation in areas with high thermal loads. Its design harnesses natural airflow to provide high-volume, energy-free ventilation. Thanks to its lightweight construction and variable sizes, the Hydra can be integrated into all roof areas and all INDU-LIGHT rooflights. In industrial and commercial construction, the system stands out with its clean, functional design—ideal for demanding applications such as foundries, boiler houses, paper and glass production, and similar environments.

Hydra's aerodynamically optimized geometry ensures excellent airflow performance and, in combination with the optionally available sound-absorbing baffles, simultaneously reduces the noise level. The robust construction using high-quality materials ensures a long service life. The maximum width is 4.0 meters, with variable lengths available.

With Hydra, rainwater is collected in a labyrinth system and drained off in a controlled manner via gutter profiles. These also act as wind deflectors. As a result, the ventilation system remains fully functional even in adverse weather conditions, preventing rain from entering the building.

To specifically reduce noise emissions, sound-absorbing baffles can be optionally installed beneath the Hydra system. These do not affect ventilation performance and continue to allow for efficient airflow. Sound-absorbing baffles can also be retrofitted to existing systems at any time.

Thanks to a variety of configuration options, the Hydra labyrinth fan adapts perfectly to any given application. The fan can be equipped with a closure mechanism that is controlled electrically or pneumatically. For areas with strict hygiene requirements, an insect screen can be integrated, for example.
