Reliable protection against hail damage

INDU LIGHT’s hail protection systems offer reliable protection against hail damage and withstand impacts from hailstones up to 50 mm in size. Tested to Hail Resistance Class 5, they meet the highest safety standards and withstand even extreme weather events. At the same time, light output is maintained almost entirely, as the system has only a minimal impact on light transmission—ideal for high-light-output skylights that require long-term protection.

Minimal reduction in light transmission

The hail protection system is designed to preserve the continuous rooflight’s light transmission as much as possible. Any reduction in light transmission is kept to a minimum—ensuring maximum daylight utilization while providing complete protection.

Classification according to hail resistance class 5

The system has been tested and has achieved the highest rating, hail resistance class 5. It can therefore withstand even extreme hailstones and provides reliable protection during severe weather events.

Certified fall-through protection

Our hail protection systems combine two functions in a single product: In addition to providing reliable protection against hail damage, their sturdy construction also makes them an effective safeguard against falling objects and penetration. The systems have been tested in accordance with SUVA standards for an impact energy of 1,200 joules, thereby offering a high level of certified safety.
