Sideline transforms non-load-bearing walls into expansive areas of natural light and, with panel lengths of up to 10 meters, provides glare-free, vertical room illumination. Thanks to low U-values of up to 0.75 W/m²K, the system offers optimal energy efficiency and good sound insulation—ideal for modern, sustainable building designs.

Sideline’s co-extruded UV-protective layer ensures high weather and UV resistance on the weather-facing side of the polycarbonate multiwall sheets. The facade panels are available in a wide range of colors and light transmission options. The aluminum profiles can be coated in RAL colors. Sideline also meets DIN 18032-3 standards for tested ball impact resistance, ensuring stable glazing even when installed vertically.

Tongue-and-groove connection – economical & energy-efficient

This lighting element combines high energy efficiency with cost-effective construction. The simplified support structure saves on materials and installation time thanks to a click system. High U-values are supported by an optional thermally broken aluminum profile system.

Mullion glazing – robust & low-maintenance

The muntin design ensures maximum stability and durability. Thanks to the proven stick contruction, large spans are possible without on-site intermediate transoms—ideal for demanding structures. Grid widths range from 500 to 1250 mm; standard lengths are up to 6 meters, with custom lengths of up to 22 meters available. Depending on requirements, glazing thicknesses ranging from 16 to 60 mm can be provided. A particular advantage: easy panel replacement. Individual elements ranging from 500 to 1250 mm can be easily replaced as needed. Optionally, concealed screw fasteners provide a particularly high-quality, minimalist appearance.

Sideline can be equipped with various opening elements for smoke extraction and ventilation. Draco and Leo, as well as the louvered ventilator Lyra, are CE-certified in accordance with EN 12101-2 and can be integrated into the building envelope for geometric smoke extraction. As a supply air unit, they support efficient air exchange, for example for nighttime cooling.
